History

In 2023, product developer Cammi Yang met brand strategist Kameron Kicklighter in a New York City coffee shop. Both were frustrated with the same thing: strength equipment wasn’t built for the way people actually live and train today.

Together, they reimagined the category from the ground up:

Equipment built with best-in-class materials, and patented, innovative product design.
Stylish workout equipment that were stable, quiet, and safe in any gym environment.
A look and feel that belonged in real homes, not just gyms.
A philosophy centered around accessibility without watering down performance.

The result?
Products that don’t just work beautifully, they invite people to move.

Within a year, WeGym launched its soft kettlebells and ultra-grippy yoga mats, designed for busy professionals, families, and tight spaces.

Then came the viral rise of SafeGrip™ Dumbbells, celebrated for their soft-touch feel, anti-roll shape, and modern silhouettes. Featured by Harper’s Bazaar, Glamour, CNN and embraced by thousands of everyday users, they set a new bar for what home strength equipment could be.

Today, with an expanding product line and the WeGym Studio App, the mission continues:
